The Musician Cabernet Shiraz
Wine
Majella The Musician Cabernet Shiraz is a classic Australian blend of two thirds Cabernet Sauvignon and one third Shiraz, all estate grown on the eastern edge of Coonawarra's famous terra rossa strip.
Winery co-director Brian Lynn named the wine after his son, the late Matthew Lynn, who was a talented guitarist.
Fermentation takes place in both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. The wine is aged for just six months further, imparting minimal oak influence. It is then blended and bottled young to retain freshness.
Vibrant ruby red, Majella The Musician Cabernet Shiraz is a light, silky wine with black fruits and soft tannins. Though made to drink now, cellaring potential is three years.
